Design and Fabrication of Main ATS Panel
The Main Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and associated switchgear panel were designed and fabricated to accommodate the 630 kVA electrical supply, fed directly from the existing 630 kVA transformer. The ATS was configured to provide seamless coordination between the main utility grid supply and the existing diesel generator, ensuring continuity of power during utility interruptions. The automatic control system was programmed to detect a failure or interruption of the utility supply and initiate the generator start sequence, followed by automatic transfer of the electrical load to the generator. Upon restoration of the utility supply, the system was configured to automatically transfer the load back to the grid and initiate the generator shutdown sequence. The panel incorporated the necessary protection and control devices, including overcurrent protection, earth-leakage protection, and residual-current protection, together with the associated control and switching equipment required for safe and reliable operation. The complete ATS and switchgear panel was designed, fabricated, wired, tested, and commissioned by our team before being formally handed over to the client as a fully operational system.
